MR MCWHINNY cruised to success in a conditional riders' event at Newton Abbot last week and given that he escapes a penalty for that performance, Tom Ellis' gelding is extremely difficult to oppose. Achille Des Rocs isn't the most reliable but he's still the main threat having struck at Cartmel recently, while Maggies Boy is back on his previous winning mark and may well improve for the fitting of a first-time visor.
