The Kansas City Chiefs host the Cincinnati Bengals in Kansas City, Missouri, for the AFC Championship game. With a ticket to the Super Bowl on the line, everything is at stake for these two teams.

The Chiefs and Bengals are led by two of the most talented signal callers in the league, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow, who led the NFL MVP race for most of the 2022-2023 season.

Kansas City was initially listed as the home underdog due to Mahomes' high ankle sprain; however, now that the QB has made positive progress and practiced with the team, Kansas City is the -1 favorite. The Chiefs vs. Bengals odds are constantly changing. These two teams have faced off a handful of times over the past years, most notably when the Bengals beat the Chiefs last season in the AFC Championship. Will history repeat itself?

Let's preview the Chiefs vs. Bengals AFC Championship game with the five most popular bets.

Top Prop Bets for Chiefs vs. Bengals

It's no surprise here to see that Ja'Marr Chase is a part of the two top bets for the AFC Championship game. The duo of Burrow and Chase has been on fire recently. As Joe's No. 1 target, it's a highly safe bet for him to score at some point in the game. In last week's AFC Divisional Round win over the Bills, Chase was the first to score a touchdown. Will he do it again? It would be a nice payout with +700 odds if the wideout can repeat his performance.

Although Patrick Mahomes is most likely the NFL MVP for the 2022-2023 season and put on one of his best campaigns, he suffered a high ankle sprain against Jacksonville last week. This injury caused him to improvise and find new ways to succeed since he was in pain. While the MVP favorite is trending in a better direction, he is not in the best shape to hit this number. Plus, Cincy has only allowed 274 passing yards in one of their last four games. This is one of the most popular bets for reason, it has a fantastic chance of hitting.

For the fourth most popular prop bet ahead of the AFC Championship Game, we have Isiah Pacheco rushing over 47.5 yards. The speedy 23-year-old has hit this prop in 11/18 games this year and in both of his playoff appearances. That was with a fully healthy Patrick Mahomes. With the star center injured and not 100 percent, the Chiefs' offense will rely even more on Pacheco.

Kadarius Toney has only recorded over 35.5 receiving yards in three games throughout both the regular and postseason. Mahomes will likely stick with his reliable targets, Travis Kelce, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, or even JuJu Smith-Schuster, before looking to Toney, who's more of a gamble. Since leaving the Giants midseason, Kadarius has played a receiver, running back, and tight end role for Kansas City. The under is a safe bet here.
