MINELLA EMPEROR won twice in bumpers including on this corresponding card last year and can open his account over hurdles in receipt of weight from all three rivals. The Emmet Mullins-trained gelding progressed well as he was upped in trip last season including when second over this distance at Haydock. His form tailed off at the end of that campaign and hopefully he'll be refreshed after a summer break. Dad Sez showed a liking for a test of stamina when scoring easily in a maiden at Kilbeggan, while Hi Ho Idaho is also proven over the trip having stayed on well behind Millstream Lady at Listowel last month.
