oddschecker Verdict

William Haggas and Tom Marquand teamed up to win this 12 months ago and can repeat the dose courtesy of IRON STONE LAD. He was only three-quarters of a length in front of Coloniser when second at Newbury on debut, but the Cracksman colt looked like he would be suited by stepping up to a mile, whereas Coloniser weakened inside the final furlong. Sole newcomer National Anthem is related to three useful individuals and looks certain to play a part given the current form of his yard. Don't underestimate Youcanbetheone because he made an introduction full of promise at Ayr.

Prediction: 1st Iron Stone Lad, 2nd National Anthem, 3rd Coloniser
