Local trainers often win this and the Moores will be hoping to add to that with Aggagio, who is capable enough having won five times over hurdles and seven on the Flat, including a C&D victory off 5lb higher in June 2025. He could go well, but ARC ZOOSVE looks worth another chance. He rattled up four in a row in the spring and was out of his depth in the Northumberland Vase at Newcastle, but a break of more than three months could have sweetened him up. Carthusian is the pick for third.
