RED SEAGULL finished second at a big price on debut before again running well in a smart bumper at the Punchestown Festival. Out of an unraced dam but a grandson of a Grade 3-winning mare, he wasn't too far behind subsequent winners and smart types Teofil (second) and Bunker Buster (third) in Punchestown and although he makes his reappearance, he is suited by a sound surface. Distraction finished second behind a previous winner in a good-ground Listowel bumper in September, so has a big race-fitness edge and should compete. Greenbrier finished third on his point-to-point debut and has joined leading connections having changed hands for 30,000 pounds.
