FIGHTING TEARS was heavily supported when scoring on her debut at the Curragh and can be expected to take a step forward. Both the selection and Zoar have each defeated subsequent winner Roeillaun to open their accounts but although the latter merits respect, he must concede 14lb to Andy Oliver's filly on this occasion. 99-rated The Scallionator finished fourth in the Railway Stakes before struggling in the Phoenix Stakes and though eased in grade now, he isn't open to as much improvement as the aforementioned pair.
