ALPINE SIERRA could be worth chancing back down in distance having failed to see out the 2m trip here last month. Jim Goldie's charge placed off a 3lb higher at Haydock in August and a similar effort in this lower grade may prove good enough. Gemini Man is usually in the mix at this level and could have a say in proceedings. He's preferred to the inconsistent Off Spin and West Sleekburn Lad.
