Punters have been all over Thomas Tuchel’s side in the aftermath of their stunning Champions League victory over potential title rivals Man City.
Chelsea eyeing up the Premier League after European Glory
Bookmakers have released outright odds for the Premier League 2021/22 season and Chelsea are the early market movers.
Following their Champions League victory on Saturday night, bookies have cut odds from 6/1 into 11/2 on Thomas Tuchel’s side.
That means they’re now the same price as 19/20 champions Liverpool (11/2), with the two Premier League giants now joint-second favourites.
They’re both only trailing last year’s winner Man City, who have retained their favouritism tag at 5/6 best price.

Outside the top three favourites
Outside the top three favourites, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United have slipped in the betting, out to 9/1 best price.
Tottenham (50/1), Leicester (50/1), and Arsenal (80/1) all follow next in the betting, with a clear gap between the top four favourites, and the rest of the market.
Who are the outsiders
In the longer shots category, Leeds (150/1), West Ham (175/1), Everton (200/1) and Aston Villa (300/1) are next up in the bookies’ initial offerings.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "The Champions League final has thrown a cat amongst the pigeons when it comes to next season's Premier League title odds, with the victorious Chelsea now second-favourites to rip the trophy from Manchester City.
"The psychological damage Thomas Tuchel inflicted on City in Porto cannot be underestimated, but the bookies aren't being swayed too much, with the holders still odds-on to retain their crown."
