Gosden senior first won this in 1994 with Halling, who was a shade more experienced but there are similarities in that this son of Frankel is on an upwards curve and should have no issues with the trip. Erzindjan won a heritage handicap on the Rowley Mile in May and a repeat of that level would see him go close, while the long list of alternatives is spearheaded by Indalo, Crest of Fire and Bourbon Blues.
