oddschecker Verdict

ANNIE BUTTON was a winner over this distance at Cork in early May and while she didn't go as well a couple of weeks later at Wexford, she was much better on her return to action at Listowel last month when a promising fourth behind Ladiam. She would certainly have finished closer but for a mistake at the final hurdle that day, and she could again play a part in a wide-open contest. Dark Lieutenant ran his best race yet when just touched off at Clonmel and he looks a danger along with top-weight Sights Unseen, who ran a nice race when fourth at Fairyhouse earlier this month on his first start since January. Mister Vic ran his best race for some time at Downpatrick three weeks ago, while Juke Box Rock was surely closing in on a win over hurdles before his beginners' chase success at Tramore when last seen a little over a year ago.

Prediction: 1st Annie Button, 2nd Dark Lieutenant, 3rd Juke Box Rock
