ASH HOBBS was well on top when winning her maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse earlier this month. On her first outing over hurdles, and on her first start since March, she had any amount in hand in beating the now 113-rated Red Acres Georgie, form that should see her involved in this Grade 3 contest. The more experienced Switch From Diesel was no match for long odds-on favourite Witches Familiar at Gowran Park but isn't easily ruled out, while Speisialta, the other penalised runner, might have a chance on the back of her career-best effort at Sligo just seven days ago. Alliteration ran her best race when second in a Listed mares' hurdle at the Punchestown Festival at the end of April but she is now having her first run since, and the narrow Listowel runner-up Beir Bua might be more of a threat.
