COURT CANYON made a fine start to his chasing career when winning well over a longer trip here in early May. He was up against it when tried in a Grade 3 novice chase at the Galway Festival and this might be more his level. The four-year-old Manoir De Mirande was a faller on his chasing debut, but he bounced back to pip odds-on favourite Glen Kiln at Fairyhouse recently. He clearly has a chance along with the two-time handicap chase winner Farrokh and Rightfolksplease, who got off the mark over fences at Wexford in August and went on to win over hurdles at Tramore just five days later. Claude was successful in a rated novice chase at Cork earlier this month and is another to note.
