Galway Hurdle fifth BEAUVALLON can land this valuable prize for trainer Willie Mullins. A lightly-raced son of Camelot, the gelding won twice from three starts over flights last season. Although well beaten by the reopposing Mino Des Mottes at Bellewstown on his return from a break, that may have been a prep run for the Ballybrit feature. With more scope for improvement than the majority of rivals, he is given the nod. Leopardstown Grade 2 runner-up Adrienne looks the biggest danger. The Ted Walsh-trained filly had a recent pipe opener on the Flat and this is sure to have been the plan. Mino Des Mottes and Ben Hur also enter calculations in a typically competitive renewal.
