oddschecker Verdict

Having overcome a mammoth absence to score at Southwell in early September and then completed a double at the same venue towards the end of the month, Elyam must rank highly on the shortlist. The four-year-old isn't taken lightly off 4lb higher, but TATTERSTALL edges the vote. The introduction of cheekpieces saw Michael Dods' inmate travel with more verve when triumphant at Lingfield and there could be more to come. The down-in-class Adrestia is also worth a second look.

Prediction: 1st Tatterstall, 2nd Elyam, 3rd Adrestia
