Archduke Ferdinand won this in 2024 before finishing fifth last year and is back again for trainer Seb Spencer. He made all to win at Redcar recently and although upped 5lb, he still has strong claims. Strike won a lesser race at Newbury by a short head and has more to do off 3lb higher, and NEVASCA CINZA is the tentative suggestion. Still a maiden, he has finished in the first four on all seven starts and makes his handicap debut for the in-form Fanshawe stable.
