MY CULLEN posted his best effort since joining Shark Hanlon when headed on the run-in to finish second at Kilbeggan 21 days ago. A 2lb nudge up in the ratings looks workable for the six-year-old and compensation could be imminent. Although Mercurial Sea returned to form with a good second in a maiden hurdle at Downpatrick, the assessor has reacted in kind with a 6lb higher mark. With that in mind, a bigger threat may emerge from fellow chase debutant Not So Serious, who got off the mark at Ballinrobe last month.
