oddschecker Verdict

Two runners makes this a potentially tactical battle but if Dan Skelton's LE BEAU MADRIK takes to fences at the first attempt, he ought to prove too good. The five-year-old did disappoint in the Welsh Champion Hurdle when only ninth, but is clearly not a two-miler and this trip should bring out the best in him. Florida Dreams is 17lb his inferior over hurdles, although he was only narrowly denied on his sole previous start over fences in October 2025.

Prediction: 1st Le Beau Madrik, 2nd Florida Dreams
