The first tournament wasn't the highest of quality but LIV will look to challenge the PGA Tour for dominance as the summer continues.
This week, the Saudi-backed tour will look to continue to build momentum as it plays in Portland, Oregon. The second tournament on the LIV Tour will be played at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. LIV Golf Portland tee times and groups
LIV Golf will utilize a shotgun start for its events, meaning that every player in the field will tee off at the same time. They will all begin play on different holes and complete the 18-hole course in order from there.
Play is expected to begin at roughly 4:15 p.m. ET each day with coverage beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
That means play will begin around 1:15 p.m. local time in Portland.
LIV Golf Portland Round 1 Preview
LIV Golf Portland will begin on Thursday, June 30, and will encompass three days. It will be a 54-hole tournament with a new 48-man field that should provide more excitement than the inaugural event in London. With players like Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Rickie Fowler, Patrick Reed, Dustin Johnson, and Phil Mickelson leaving the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf, the event in Portland should be one to track.
