CURRACLOE went off a big price on her debut at Gowran but ran out an impressive winner and can take the step up into stakes company now. The daughter of Baaeed quickened away in fine style in the closing stages at the start of the month. Snowing, who chased her home, was third in Listed company subsequently at the Irish Champions Festival. Trainer Danny McLoughlin has already bagged a few stakes races this season and Damsel In Distress, third at this level over a mile here late last month, is a big player. Value Pending is another once-raced maiden winner who has to be respected. She looked smart on her debut at Dundalk just nine days ago.
