Macarone has been on a roll lately, winning a classified C&D event before following up in narrow fashion at Bath. For all that he is only 1lb higher this time around, though, SUB THIRTEEN could have his measure. Jeremy Scott's gelding hit the frame in an ultra-competitive sprint series final at Bath a fortnight ago and a replication of that effort might be good enough, whilst it hasn't gone unnoticed that he's 6lb below his last winning mark. Lochaber could pick up the minor placing.
