Naas Sunday 12:30 Racecard & Betting Preview

oddschecker Verdict

Cheltenham bumper winner THE MOURNE RAMBLER can make a successful start over hurdles. Last seen finishing second at the Punchestown festival in April, the Noel Meade-trained gelding is sure to be well schooled ahead of this assignment, and he should be capable of landing this prize before having his sights raised in the coming weeks. The Gordon Elliott-trained Low Kick rates the main danger. A bumper winner at this track last season, the gelding failed to back that up when down the field in the aforementioned Punchestown race, but is probably better than the bare result suggests. Dual bumper scorer Caman Hill also has to be of interest on his first start for trainer Oliver McKiernan.

Prediction: 1st The Mourne Rambler, 2nd Low Kick, 3rd Caman Hill
