The Barrons' gelding had previously filled the runner-up spot in handicap company at Ripon and a similar performance may prove sufficient. Although Kohana Nation lacks a recent run, a repeat of his second at Newcastle 225 days ago is likely to see him involved. The Sioux Nation colt is feared most, ahead of Stoneacre Joe.
