Irish runners have won four of the last five renewals, but Joseph O'Brein's Emit looks high enough in the weights and Love Me Tender is hard to assess debuting for Willie Mullins, having won twice in Germany last year. Tarriance landed the Melrose here in 2025, though he's 12lb higher now and could only manage fourth behind Hopewell Rock at Goodwood last time. Klassleader makes more appeal back over this longer trip having won over 1m4f at the track in May, but a chance is taken on SQUARE NECKER. The unexposed four-year-old is dual winner over 1m5f, won't mind any cut in the ground and looks to have been kept fresh for this.
