The entire NBA has its eyes on Kevin Durant next team odds after it came to light last week that Durant had officially requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.

The core of Chris Paul and Devin Booker are attractive for Durant, but the Suns would have to give up some of their homegrown talent in order to land him. Mikal Bridges would almost certainly be on the move to Brooklyn in this deal, as would Deandre Ayton. Ayton wouldn't be that big of a loss to the Suns as they seem poised to move on from the big man anyway, but Bridges and the haul of picks they give up would hurt their defense and depth.

Toronto Raptors (+400)

The Toronto Raptors make a lot of sense as a Kevin Durant landing spot when looking at Kevin Durant next team odds. But, does Toronto want to give up its young core to make a run at another ring right now? Any deal for Durant would likely be centered around defending Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes and OG Anunoby. Barnes is an unbelievable young piece, and Anunoby is still just 24 years old. After that, they'd have to add another player like Khem Birch in order to make the salaries match and then they'd have to give up a ton of first-round picks. Do the Raptors really want to give all that up to pair Durant with Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet? I'm not sure.

Miami Heat (+950)

The next team on this list is actually the Brooklyn Nets at +850, but I have a hard time believing Durant would end up back in Brooklyn after all this. So, let's take a look at the fourth favorite in the Kevin Durant next team odds, the Miami Heat. Miami is an interesting option for Durant. Seeing him with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo would be electric. The problem is that Adebayo would likely need to be included in any Durant deal. It would most likely look like Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and multiple first-round picks for Kevin Durant. The only problem is the Nets can't have two designated rookies on their roster via trade. So, there would have to be a third team in the deal that would be willing to take on Ben Simmons.
