Fairyhouse 16:27 Racecard & Betting Preview

oddschecker Verdict

SWITCHING SIDES ran a nice race in a Curragh maiden on debut and can go one better now. The Kodiac colt went down by half-a-length to Ballydoyle colt Sergei Diaghilev and the maidens there tend to be quality affairs. In an auction series event now, he could take a bit of beating. Penny Benjamin was also runner-up on her debut over 7f at Roscommon and has to be respected. She gets almost a stone at the weights here. It's interesting that Colin Keane rides newcomer Elyatta for her trainer Noel Meade. Another debutant to note is the Paddy Twomey-trained Trean. He's a half-brother to Dark Lucinda, who made an impressive debut for the yard last month.

Prediction: 1st Switching Sides, 2nd Penny Benjamin, 3rd Trean
