oddschecker Verdict

Wahdan won with ease at Pontefract, despite being blocked for a run, and even though this is a tougher contest, he could still go well. Ancestor failed to see out the mile and a half when sixth in a valuable handicap at Ascot and can do better at this trip, but WATER TO WINE is preferred. The winner of his first two starts, he found the going too quick in the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot but makes his handicap debut on a more suitable surface against weaker opposition.

Prediction: 1st Water To Wine, 2nd Ancestor, 3rd Wahdan
