Chepstow 16:02 - w/o Daylatedollarshort

oddschecker Verdict

MASKED MAN struggled in a Grade 1 at Aintree on his final start of last season, but the five-year-old displayed plenty of ability prior to that. Two novice hurdle successes sandwiched a second in Grade 2 company at Haydock and that form suggests a mark of 132 should be workable on his handicap bow. Daylatedollarshort was runner-up in a valuable Punchestown event in April and is an obvious threat, while Wellington Arch edges out Kocktail Bleu and Melon to be best of the rest.

Prediction: 1st Masked Man, 2nd Daylatedollarshort, 3rd Wellington Arch
