However, he was well supported on that occasion and may well gain compensation here. Mailloche finished second to Mustang Du Breuil, who went on to place in a Grade 2 at Kempton, when debuting over hurdles at Auteuil last October and could be smart, while Marco Du Seuil won a French bumper on debut last year. Although beaten on hurdling debut at Ballinrobe in May, the four-year-old should benefit from that experience.
