The soft ground took its toll on CHERRY COBBLER in the closing stages at Goodwood last time. He's better judged on his impressive success on the Rowley Mile here in May and Stuart Williams' charge looks worthy of another chance on that evidence now back on a faster surface. Stenmark finished a close third at Yarmouth when looking to break his duck on the turf. He could land a blow and is preferred to Dapper Guest.
